Claire Hastings – Between River and Railway

Earlier this year, we were asked to create a behind-the-scenes promo video for the brilliant Claire Hastings for her upcoming album, ‘Between River and Railway’. Winner of the coveted BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year award last year, Claire set to work on the album with a plethora of talent from the traditional folk scene across Scotland. Ali Hutton, a talented musician in his own right, was asked to produce the album which was recorded on location at the Carrier Waves Studio in Glasgow and engineered by Keir Long. Jen Butterworth helped out with vocals/guitar, Andrew Waite added the accordion to the mix, with Laura Wilkie playing fiddle and other musicians helped out that we were unable to capture as it was shot in a single day with the A7S/Shogun and GH4 combo.
