At the end of last year, we were hired to shoot and edit local Edinburgh-based cajun band Hoodoo Bayou’s version of Dewey Balfa’s iconic hit, “Parlez nous a boire”. We shot it in one short day on location in Abbey Hill (Edinburgh) and are pleased with the results. Have a look and see for yourself!<\/p>\n

We shot it with a few different setups, including the Sony A7S hooked up with an Atomos Ninja rig, shoulder mount, 1m motorised slider, and a variety of canon glass (as well as various lights including Dedo DLH4s x3, a Litepanels Astra bicolour panel 1×1, a small hidden LED panel and 3 softboxes) and edited it all in Adobe Premiere CC. Performed to a rough mix of the track, Jennifer Ewan (see her solo work HERE<\/a>), Kim Tebble and Performer\/Producer\/Director Gin Saw did a stellar job on the day. Who knew a room in a flat could be so easily transformed into a space out of the 1930s?!
